Launch of 2019 Don’t Drink and Drive Campaign

The Beer Sectoral Group (BSG) of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) launched the Don’t Drink and Drive campaign which aims at promoting responsible consumption of alcohol. The campaign discourages drunk driving and aims to raise awareness of its dangers.

The launch which was held in partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) featured the presentation of breathalyzers to the agency.

BSG Kicks Off Don’t Drink and Drive Campaign Park Rallies

The Beer Sectoral Group (BSG) of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), in partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), on Thursday, 12th of December, 2019 kicked off the ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’ campaign Park Rally in Lagos State.

The rallies held in 20 parks in Lagos, 10 parks in Port-Harcourt and 10 in Abuja.

 

 

Beer Sectoral Group Launches SMASHED Underage Drinking Intervention in Calabar

The Beer Sectoral Group (BSG) of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) in collaboration with Cross River State Ministry of Quality Education launched the SMASHED Project in Calabar on the 4th of May, 2021.

The SMASHED Project is an initiative of Collingwood Learning UK and Thespian Theatre. It is a theatre-in-education program that addresses the dangers of underaged drinking and alcohol-related harm to secondary school students, using drama presentations, while engaging participants in a motivational learning environment and equipping them with the facts, skills and confidence to make responsible choices and develop responsible attitudes in health-related matters.
